Play therapy is a theoretical model that was established to best support children (ages 3-12) in the therapeutic process, allowing them to communicate through toys and play. The Association for Play Therapy defines play therapy as “a way of being with the child that honors their unique developmental level and looks for ways of helping in the ‘language’ of the child - play.” The play therapy theoretical orientations in which I utilize include Attachment Therapy, Theraplay, Child Centered Play Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy.

My specializations include anxiety disorders, ADHD, ASD, trauma, adoption, grief, depression, chronic illness, athletic performance, sensory processing disorders, ODD, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, life transitions, and emotional regulation
